By purchasing a paver, you create an enduring memory set right here in the heart of the Arboretum.

When designing your paver, first Select Your Paver Location from the options provided: Tribute Garden, Contemplation Garden (Military Only), or the Koi Pond Walkway.
Next, type the message you wish to engrave in the "Paver Information" field. Your message can be up to three lines, with a strict limit of 15 characters per line (spaces count as characters). The paver (6"x9") will have black letters on a natural background. For example: "Name of Family Member, Loving Mother & Wife."
Finally, if you wish the person being honored to receive an acknowledgement, please enter their contact information (name, address, city, state) in the 'Paver Acknowledgement' box, and indicate whether the dedication is "In Memory of" or "In Honor of."
Note: If you prefer to pay for a paver via a check, click here to download the form to print it and fill in all the details. You can then mail the form and check to The Friends of the Arboretum at 6206 Oleander Drive, Wilmington, NC 28403.
Important Information:

The ordered paver functions as both a memorial, tribute, and/or acknowledgment.

No additional adornments are permitted on the grounds. Any such items will be respectfully removed without prior consultation.

Engraving Guarantee: If the engraving on your paver becomes illegible due to fading within five (5) years of installation, we will replace the paver at no cost to you.

After the 5-year period, any replacement due to natural wear or fading may be made at the donor’s expense.
